With lesser time than patience we (being the royal I) are going to call the latest epic instalment in the “WordPress AutoUpgrade vs Misfit Psycles Curiosity vs WordPress Version vs Plugins vs Themes battle du jour” – Good Enough.
And by Good Enough I really do mean meh with a capital whatever.

I’m not entirely please with the (new) layout.
Possibly because it’s different.
I’m not entirely pleased with the way it absorbed existing content.
Possibly because the content wasn’t that good to begin with.
I’m not entirely pleased with the current formats and constraints for new content.
Possibly because it’s different and the content isn’t that good.
I’m certainly not even or remotely pleased by the necessity to feel all or any of these previously mentioned displeasures in the first place.
Because it’s true.
Yes. You could (possibly perhaps should) be asking;
if you know the auto-upgrade feature does funky things, causes you immeasurable hassle and generally messes your shit up, why do you continue to depress the button?
The answer is simple;
because, fuckyou, that’s why
But also because it’s really kind of an attractive button.
A button that instills great confidence.
A button that suggests any past deficiencies have been resolved.
A button that, given my repeated experience, should be removed or (at least) modified to read ‘fuck your shit up now‘.
No matter.
We are current and error free. For now.
I am pleased that I have something anew.
I am pleased to have something assembled without bandaids or shortcuts.
I am pleased that I can force readers to endure advertising for PSYCLEPRODUCTS while enduring my mental whimsies.
I am pleased to have something I can say is almost, but not ever going to be, finished.
And that (that being this state of perpetual revision) is practically innovation.
The new LIESNSHITE theme is (it should be) based on an HTML5 boiler plate.
To my eye it looks good in SAFARI, FIREFOX.
Anyone using CHROME or other?
Being that this new theme is supposed to be cross-platform, I’ve turned OFF the (add-on) mobile module, iOS (iPhone and iPad) look good.
Anyone using ANDROID or other?
Tomorrow.
We discuss training disclosure and social (media) pretentiousness (disguised as the former).
